How To Always Win Beer Pong On Game Pigeon

As part of the recent ios 10 software update introduced last fall, iMessage can now be used as something more than just for texting. Apple introduced a series of little apps that are accessible only from your iMessages. Gamepigeon is one of the top iMessage apps out there with a variety of games to play.

20 cups, 2 balls, and 2 iPhones is all that you need to play the latest Gamepigeon iMessage game, “Cup Pong”.

This game is a digital version of the popular party drinking game known as beer pong. The game is set up with 20 solo cups — 10 on each side– forming a pyramid. 4 cups in the back row, 3 in the next, 2 cups ahead, and a final cup in front.

Player one starts a new game and a message is sent to the opponent. The opponent opens the game and gets two chances to swipe the ball and try to make it into a cup. If the ball goes into the cup, the cup is taken away. If both balls go into the cups, the player gets balls back. Balls back mean both balls go back to the player and they get to try to swipe the balls into more cups. This happens until the player misses. When the player misses, their turn is over and the next player attempts to make it into the other cups. The objective of the game is to make it into as many cups first. If you make it into all of the cups, the game is still not over, the other player can redeem themselves.

Getting screwy with a competitor’s head is part of the game, but it doesn’t have to be a component of the victory or aftermath. If you win, let the game end there—unless the other team said some horrendously bogus things about your family (in which case, by all means, destroy them). Beer Pong is a drinking game where players throw a ping pong ball across a table with the goal of landing the ball in the opposing team’s cups. If a ball lands in a cup, the defending team must remove it from the table and drink the beer in the cup. Pacifier Beer Pong 1. Set up normal beer pong cups. Use pacifiers instead of pong balls (note: they do not bounce). Play as you would beer pong. If you do not know how to play beer pong here is a good tutorial. A new craze sweeping seemingly all Iphone users phones, is the new Game Pigeon app, Cup Pong. The game Cup Pong seems stupidly easy when you open it up. All you have to do is swipe your finger in the direction of a cup and attempt to land the ball inside of said cup. However, the game is not nearly as easy as it sounds. Beer Pong is so popular that there is now a World Series tournament where hundreds of teams compete to win major cash prizes. But Beer Pong is just one of the many drinking games played in many parties and social gatherings in the country.

Unlike its real life counterpart, once the game is over and a winner is determined, the loser does not have to drink all of the remaining cups left on the table.

This game is available to anyone with access to the iPhone’s iMessage feature, virtually allowing anyone to become that stereotypical party-goer for the duration of the game. This game obviously does not include the use of beer or any other type of liquid, but the fun is still very intoxicating.

I know that after a few games played, I wanted to dust off the ol’ ping pong table and invite about a few dozen friends and have an actual tournament. This game is very fun and I highly recommend everyone to play it. It is a great thing to do when you want to kill some time.

With every good thing in life, there is always a critic. Someone who can’t help but disagree or get offended with everything. I have read many reviews that this game should be banned because it promotes and encourages drinking and partying. But in all honesty, the game is far from that. It is a harmless game that was created to pass time. The one unfortunate thing about the app and the game itself is that it can only be played between two people. I would love to see a “teams” option so that you and a buddy can take on two other buddies in a group chat.

Overall, a good game is really hard to find these days. It has been a while since I have opened my phone just to play a game. In my opinion, player v. player games are very entertaining and that is one of the reasons I really enjoy the Gamepigeon iMessage app.

The game is simple, fun, and best of all: it is 100% free!

I was playing beer pong last week in Dive NQ and I'm not going to lie - I got my arse handed to me.

Pong

If I’m being honest I’ve never actually enjoyed the game very much – for a few simple reasons:

How To Always Win Beer Pong On Game Pigeon Night

● I don’t go to University in America.
● I have never been to University in America.
● I don’t own a New York Yankees cap like Fred Durst.
● My mum always told me not to play with my food.
● I can’t drink beer anymore.

So the above list is the main reasons I lost. It has nothing to do with my piss-poor hand/eye coordination and severe shakes after one too many months on the sauce.

Annoyed I decided to examine how I can win every time and not look like an idiot again. I present this knowledge now to you…

Aiming & Choosing Cups
There are of course lots of ‘experts’ on Beer Pong, and one of them on the internet suggests that you should choose the cups you aim for very carefully. By choosing the right ones you can ensure that the likelihood of success is much greater. In the simplest terms, aim for the cups at the front and work your way back. If the ball bounces off the front ones it’s momentum is more likely to get it into the cups further back, instead of bouncing forward. Simple science innit.

Type of Throw
There are three main schools of thought on the kind of throw that is the best. This is because there are 3 main types of throw. There’s the Arc (a long, high, slow descent into a cup), the Fastball (a speedy, low and aggressive shove) and the Bounce (you bounce the ball off the table once, obviously). My personal favourite is the Bounce, primarily because as the ball hits the table the first time, the table absorbs a lot of the energy – meaning the ball is a lot slower and less likely to ricochet off the cups and onto the floor.

Holding the Ball
There are a million ways to throw a ball. You can do it underhand like Frank Reynolds, overhand like Freddy Flintoff or you can flick it out of your palm like some jock in Alpha Sigma Phi down the road. It seems like the most common (and fool proof) method however is to place the ball between your thumb, forefinger and middle finger. Just make a little trof with your two bigger fingers for the ball to rest in and use your thumb to project the ball across the table. Practice too – obviously.

Get in your Opponents Head
This advice works with any game really. Psychology is a great tool for winning and if you can get into your opponent’s head – you’ve done half the work. There are, of course, multiple ways to do this – it all depends of your opponent – so it’s a good idea to have a chat with them first (or during) to get an idea of what they’re like. If you find a useful button which you can press – keep pressing until the snap. Don’t antagonise someone bigger than you – unless you’re Bruce Lee.

Never stop drinking
This is also just as important as all the other tips – never stop drinking while playing Beer Pong – otherwise you’re just going to tense up and fuck it all up. Having a drink will keep you loose, keep your hands supple and smooth and ensure that you have the arrogance and confidence to BELIEVE that you can win. The only problem is when you go too far – it’s a tightrope between that perfect drunk Beer Pong zone and being so drunk that you can’t see the cups at the end of the table.
